Grace Bay/ Grace Bay Beach
If you’re familiar with Provo (short for Providenciales) you may have heard of Grace Bay. Grace Bay Beach is the largest in Providenciales, stretching across 12 miles on the north shore of the island, with renowned white sands and calm conditions. It is home to about 80% of dining, shopping and accommodation options on the island, therefore likely that you may end up spending a lot of your time here during your stay. Grace Bay is the one of the only areas of the island where you can experience ease in walking distance between shops, restaurants, and the beach. If you are staying outside of Grace Bay, we often recommend renting a car, or making a connection with a taxi driver who can give you a deal for the duration of your stay here. The beach is public and creates ease of access to its beachfront resorts.

Chalk sound is located on the Southwest side of the island near Sapodilla and Taylor Bay, which are considered some of the island’s best beaches, making for a stunning location to lay roots and explore. We highly recommend this area if you are looking for more unique accommodation styles, as you will enjoy a less tourist-centric perspective of the island. Chalk Sound National Park is a highly scenic natural lagoon featuring shallow and crystalline turquoise waters with hundreds of small rocky islands. Being part of a protected National Park, the use of powered watercraft is prohibited, making this a perfect kayak and paddle-boarding destination. Keep in mind it is about a twenty minute drive from all the amenities and activities of Grace Bay.
Here are some accommodations we recommend in Chalk Sound:
Neptune Villas & Las Brisas Restaurant and Bar
3 Star Accommodations
A group of villas with option of ocean or garden views that are offered in 1, 2, and 3 bedroom options, making the villas a great affordable opportunity for families or friend groups traveling together. Each villa comes with its own private balcony and hammock to enjoy the ocean views and the tropical breeze. Neptune Villas offer two different on-site restaurants (including Las Brisas, part of their namesake), alongside a wide array of luxury add-ons to further enhance your stay. The villas are located right next to Sapodilla Bay, a popular beach in the area, where you can enjoy access to a unique and secluded beach, yours to explore.
Long Bay is another great option to search for accommodations, as it offers a similar seclusion to Chalk Sound, but is less than a 10 minute drive from other areas such as Leeward and Grace Bay. Long Bay beaches are known for their world class kiteboarding conditions, making this area opportune for water-sport enthusiasts. This section of the island is classed as the “windy side“, allowing for kiters to explore the crystal clear shallow waters in the Bay.
Here is our favorite place to stay in Long Bay:
H20 Lifestyle Resort

Important to note that H2O is not a full-service hotel, but a contemporary boutique style property with large modern condos for short term rental.
