If you’re familiar with Provo (short for Providenciales) you may have heard of Grace Bay. Grace Bay Beach is the largest in Providenciales, stretching across 12 miles on the north shore of the island, with renowned white sands and calm conditions. It is home to about 80% of dining, shopping and accommodation options on the island, therefore likely that you may end up spending a lot of your time here during your stay. Grace Bay is the one of the only areas of the island where you can experience ease in walking distance between shops, restaurants, and the beach. If you are staying outside of Grace Bay, we often recommend renting a car, or making a connection with a taxi driver who can give you a deal for the duration of your stay here. We highly recommend this area if you are looking for more unique accommodation styles, as you will enjoy a less tourist-centric perspective of the island. Chalk Sound National Park is a highly scenic natural lagoon featuring shallow and crystalline turquoise waters with hundreds of small rocky islands. Being part of a protected National Park, the use of powered watercraft is prohibited, making this a perfect kayak and paddle-boarding destination. Keep in mind it is about a twenty minute drive from all the amenities and activities of Grace Bay.
